The Pre-Defense Seminar for Ms. Ayesha Farooq’s Ph.D. dissertation, was successfully held on January 15, 2026

Ms. Ayesha Farooq, Ph.D. candidate in Applied Psychology, presented her Pre-Defense Seminar on 15th January 2026, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Iram Fatima. Her dissertation focuses on:
“Precipitating and Protective Factors of Cyberchondria in Adults.”
The research explores key psychological and contextual factors that contribute to cyberchondria, as well as protective mechanisms that promote mental well-being—an important and timely topic in today’s digital age.
The seminar was attended by faculty members, Ph.D. scholars, and M.S./M.Phil. scholars, making it a vibrant forum for discussion and academic exchange.
