LAHORE: (Saturday, November 29, 2025): Punjab University College of Art and Design’s Department of Graphic Design hosted a seminar on ‘Bringing Life to a TVC’. On this occasion, Chairman Department of Graphic Design Prof Dr Ahmad Bilal, renowned professional from the ad world Asad ul Haq, faculty members and a large number of students were present. In his address, Dr Ahmad Bilal appreciated the resource person for his dynamic and diverse range of television commercials, starting from the most iconic “Rhythm of Unity” in 1993. He mentions that this advert was an inspiration for the generation of 1990s. The Department of Graphic Design at the University of the Punjab continues to foster learning opportunities through such engaging events, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices, he added. Asad ul Haq showcased his work, sharing insights and expertise in bringing life to television commercials (TVCs).
